Making of AQUILA.
This video shows the making of a spotted eagle ray out of walnut with 660 basswood inlays.
I have named her “Aquila” which means eagle in latin. It is the name of a constellation, so I thought it would suit her very well.

Aquila is a constellation on the celestial equator. Its name is Latin for ‘eagle’ and it represents the bird that carried Zeus/Jupiter’s thunderbolts in Greek-Roman mythology.
Sculpted out of walnut, it is composed of more than 600 basswood inlays.
